Registered Nurse – Short Stay/Surgical Observation Unit (Part Time, Day Shift)

7:00 am to 7:00 pm – two 12‑hour shifts

Up to $7,500 for qualified candidates

Wendell 2 is a 24‑bed Short Stay/Surgical Observation Unit serving patients from Women’s Health, Ortho/Spine, General Surgery, and Bariatrics. The unit operates on a primarily 12‑hour shift schedule with weekend rotation and includes patient‑care technicians, unit coordinators, resource nurses, and a dedicated educator. A strong orientation program meets every two weeks to provide ongoing learning and support.

• Automatic enrollment for RNs with less than 12 months experience or transitioning to a new practice area

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – Preferred
• Registered Nursing license (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire

• No prior experience required
• One year of acute care experience preferred
• Previous healthcare experience preferred
