The Role

The Cardiac Transition Unit supports patients across procedural, recovery, and inpatient preparation workflows
, creating a highly interactive and adaptable nursing environment. This role blends hands‑on patient care with procedural exposure and cross‑team coordination, offering a more comprehensive clinical experience than traditional unit‑based nursing roles.

  • Provide direct patient care for individuals in the pre‑procedure, recovery, and transition phases of cardiac care
  • Support cardiology procedures such as cardioversion and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), gaining valuable procedural experience
  • Assist with ICPC workflows
    , preparing and coordinating patients transitioning to inpatient care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across procedural and inpatient settings to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
  • Adapt to a fast‑paced, high‑variability environment where assignments shift based on patient needs and unit priorities
  • Work within a safety‑focused staffing model designed to maintain strong coverage and support at all times

Pay range for this role is $39.90–$53.00 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate’s qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.

Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
