As a Charge Nurse in Pediatric Infusion and Specialty Clinics, you will function as both a clinical expert and an on
the
ground leader. You will drive daily operations while remaining closely connected to patient care, particularly for children receiving infusion therapies and specialty services, including oncology treatments.

In this fastpaced ambulatory environment, you will balance patient care responsibilities with operational oversight, ensuring safe, efficient, and high quality care delivery.

On an average day, you will:

• Lead clinic operations, overseeing patient flow, staffing coordination, and real time problem solving
• Deliver hands-on care, including infusion administration, monitoring for reactions, and symptom management
• Support pediatric patients with complex conditions, including those undergoing cancer treatment and specialty therapies
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff, reinforcing best practices and supporting professional development
• Promote a culture of evidence based practice, safety, and clear communication
• Address operational and clinical challenges in real time, ensuring continuity and a positive patient experience

Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or currently enrolled in an accredited nursing BSN/MSN program that will be completed within 5 years of hire.

RN Clinician 2 or higher who has been employed on the unit for 6 months or has had previous Charge Nurse experience from another unit/organization.

Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

The pay range for this role is $46.08 - $61.00 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
