Job Overview

UVA Imaging is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full‑time, patient‑focused role at our outpatient imaging center in Charlottesville, VA. The position requires a 34‑hour week, scheduled Monday and Tuesday for 12 hours (9:30 a.m.–10:00 p.m.) and Saturday for 10 hours (7:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.).

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including safety screenings and patient history review.
• Establish IV access and perform related patient‑care tasks.
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced imaging environment, coordinating with nurses and licensed independent practitioners.

• Minimum one year of LPN experience in a clinical setting.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Valid state licensure; BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work independently, manage medical emergencies, and document accurately.
