Job TitleRegistered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | 36–48 Hours Per Week | Onsite | Weekends Required | Every Other Holiday Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients including pediatric populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float within scope of practice to other units as staffing needs require
- Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned during onboarding
- Active RN license in Virginia or Virginia license pending (must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma Center experience, or at least 2 years of Level 2 Trauma Center experience, including some pediatric experience
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required prior to start
- TNCC required (candidates may submit with TNCC pending, but must obtain before start date)
- Epic EMR experience required
- BSN degree preferred
- Experience in high-volume or academic medical center emergency departments
- Opportunity to work in a high-acuity Emergency Room environment at a leading academic medical facility
