** Day Shift Charge Nurse position** , you will serve as both a clinical leader and a steady resource for your peers on a dynamic Acute General Medicine unit. This unit cares for adult patients with a wide range of acute medical needs, including endocrine disorders, infectious diseases, renal conditions, and select cardiology cases.

You will serve as a dedicated Charge Nurse without a patient assignment, focused on leading the team and supporting unit-wide clinical operations

In practice, your day may include:

+ Leading daily operations for a fast-paced medical unit while ensuring safe, efficient patient flow

+ Supporting bedside RNs with clinical decision-making, prioritization, and escalation of care

+ Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans for complex patient populations

+ Managing admissions, discharges, and transfers with a focus on continuity and safety

+ Serving as a mentor and resource for nurses across varying levels of experience

+ Maintaining situational awareness across the unit to proactively address patient and staffing needs
