Registered Nurse – NICU

Pediatric Icu (PICU) Rn

Seeking a highly skilled Pediatric ICU (PICU) RN to provide expert care across multiple pediatric units, including NICU, PICU, pediatric med-surg, PACU, ED, and postpartum. The nurse will float within their scope, ensuring quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care by performing assessments and implementing individualized plans.
• Float to various pediatric units as needed, adhering to scope of practice policies.
• Administer medications, therapies, and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor patient status continuously, recognizing and responding to clinical changes.
• Document all care activities accurately in the electronic health record.
• Comply with all hospital policies, including those related to pediatric floating and travel.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of PICU experience required.
• NICU and PICU float pool experience highly preferred.
• Valid state RN license (pending licenses accepted with verified approval by start date).
• Current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Must hold or be eligible for Dr. Browns Infant Driven Feeding Certification ($185).
• Epic EMR experience required.
