** The Role*
* As an Operating Room RN in UVA Health's Outpatient Surgery Center, you will provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment that performs approximately  
** 50-60 cases each day** . Located in the Battle Building directly across from UVA Medical Center, this  
** 12-operating-room facility
** provides exceptional exposure to a diverse surgical population while maintaining the efficiency and patient-centered focus of an outpatient setting.

We are looking for nurses with experience in one or more of the following specialty areas:

** General Surgery*

** Gynecology (GYN)*
* +  
** Urology*
* +  
** Plastic Surgery*
* +  
** ENT*
* +  
** Orthopedics*
* +  
** Robotic Surgery*
* In this role, you will:

+ Function in both  
** scrub and circulating nurse roles
** across perioperative services.

+ Deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical experience.

+ Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary care teams.

+ Support a high-volume ambulatory surgery program across multiple specialty service lines.

+ Participate in

This position offers a schedule of  
** four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
