RN Nurse, Obstetrics, Pediatric Nurse
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in labor and delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring fetal heart rates and assessing patient statuses. Nurses will assist in cesarean sections and postpartum care. Candidates should be familiar with both low-risk and high-risk obstetric populations. Management of complications such as preeclampsia and gestational diabetes is expected. Experience with electronic health record systems is necessary for proper documentation.
Candidates should be prepared to handle emergencies and recognize abnormal fetal patterns. All staff will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care. This position requires working every other holiday and weekend shifts, averaging around 36 hours per week. The facility is equipped with private labor rooms and specialized equipment for patient care. This role encompasses a supportive environment for both mothers and newborns.
