Cross posting for job review and auto offer. 12 bed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:4. Patient diagnoses include respiratory illnesses, renal illnesses, diabetes, sepsis, cellulitis, infections, heart failure, sickle cell, and cystic fibrosis. Available hours can be 36 or 48 per week. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required.
Can approve up to 40 hours for time off. Nurse-driven heparin infusions and insulin drips via glucomander are part of the unit's protocols. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from various teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Special equipment available includes lift equipment, PCA pumps, bladder scanners, and wound vacs. Floating within scope of practice is required as needed.
1:4 patient ratio during the day shift. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must have charting system experience with Epic. Experience with managing dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care, and wound care is essential. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Candidates must disclose any vacation between the sign date and start date. All certifications must be submitted prior. Floating is required within the practice scope.
