Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Mobile Care Clinic, Outpatient
** Bring primary care directly to adults and children who may otherwise struggle to access it.
** As a Registered Nurse with UVA Health Mobile Care, you will help remove barriers, strengthen community health, and deliver compassionate care where patients live and gather.

This outpatient position offers a distinctive schedule, generally  
** 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on two clinic days each week and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on non-clinic days** , along with  
** a hybrid remote*
* ** component*
* ** and flexible hours on non-clinic days** . You will combine hands-on nursing, thoughtful clinic preparation, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support vulnerable patient populations with complex clinical and social needs.

** The Role*
* Your day begins with focused preparation, including reviewing scheduled patients, anticipating medication needs, coordinating supplies, and working with the care team to ensure the mobile clinic is ready. During clinic hours, you will partner closely with an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver  
** accessible primary care for pediatric and adult patients** .

This is an opportunity for an RN who enjoys anticipating needs, adapting in real time, and developing trusted relationships with patients who may experience transportation, financial, or other barriers to traditional outpatient care.

+ Prepare for mobile clinic sessions through patient review, medication planning, clinical readiness, and supply coordination.

+ Support primary care visits for adults and children in partnership with the APP and interdisciplinary team.

+ Help address preventive care, chronic health conditions, minor illnesses and injuries, and other outpatient health needs.

+ Recognize and respond to the clinical and social factors affecting each patient's health and ability to access care.

+ Collaborate within a small, mission-driven team where  
** resourcefulness, communication, and sound clinical judgment
** are essential.

+ Help patients navigate appropriate next steps and connect with ongoing care when needed.

+ Contribute to the continued expansion of Mobile Care services as the team works toward broader weekday access.

Primary care experience is preferred but not required. Experience caring for both pediatric and adult populations is especially valuable. The RN who thrives here is
