Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a NICU position requiring NRP certification in-hand and offering night shift assignments.

• Active VA state RN license or compact license (can submit with VA license pending)
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required in-hand at time of consideration
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding certification required (may be pending at time of consideration)
• Epic EMR experience required

• Work in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) unit
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
• 36 or 48 hours per scheduling period
• Required to work 3 weekends within a 6-week scheduling period
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU
• Up to 40 hours of requested time off can be approved during the assignment
• Time off cannot be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Candidates must wait 12 months after a prior assignment before returning as a traveler
