Base salary: $82,700.80 annually. Compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.

Job Profile Summary

Performs in a leadership role within the Electrophysiology Lab and acts as a physician technical extender with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to support the high‑end clinical execution of the full array of electrophysiology procedures in the laboratory setting.

  • Demonstrates leadership in the delivery of services.
  • Assists the attending physician or Fellow in the technical performance of electrophysiology procedures.
  • Implements procedure‑specific technical interventions based upon the individual patient physician and procedure support needs.
  • Actively participates in quality improvement program development and professional growth activities for self while assisting in the professional development of others.
  • Provides for a safe environment of care.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Life Science or related discipline. Specialized formal and/or on‑the‑job training in a comprehensive electrophysiology setting or background preparation in Bioengineering or Life Science.

Experience:

5 years relevant experience in invasive cardiology, preferably relative to this position.

Licensure:
Heart Rhythm Society IBHRE Certification for Electrophysiology within 18 months of hire.

Physical Demands

Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills;
Attention to detail and ability to write legibly;
Ability to lift, push, pull 50–100 lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
