Job Description & How to Apply Below
We took this project from an idea to clinical trials and showed that it might be the first novel treatment of Parkinson's disease, an idea proven with three Phase 3 clinical trials last year. During this same period of time, we discovered a novel signaling mechanism termed functional selectivity (biased signaling) and demonstrated that this mechanism was critical in the actions of the first third generation antipsychotic drug.
We are now poised to continue these advances and would like to recruit a scientist with an interest in brain disorders and their molecular, biochemical, and behavioral manifestations. We have collaborations with other labs that enrich the overall research experience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Applicants must have PhD and/or MD (or equivalent) degree in hand by start date.
We invite applications from candidates with excellent graduate training in neuroscience, pharmacology, physiology, or related disciplines who have an interest in disorders of the brain and their potential therapy.
