Position: Education Data Entry Assistant (Staff Wage and Student Wage)

Position Overview

Assist with on‑site tasks related to research project data entry at the VLP office located on the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville, VA. The role requires regular presence on UVA grounds and proficiency with computers and data entry platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry tasks related to research projects, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Read and understand scoring data, entering it into designated platforms.
  • Maintain records and assist with on‑site tasks as needed.
  • Attend training and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with computers.
  • Preferred background in educational testing, assessments, and literacy.
  • Capability to work 10–15 hours per week, with preference for 20 or more hours.
  • Location requirement: in or around Charlottesville, VA and able to work on UVA campus.
Compensation and Work Hours

Hourly pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.00. The position is a wage role not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours total in a year.

Hours:

minimum 10–15 per week, preference for 20 or more. Position through summer
2026 with potential for continuation.

Paid training is provided. The University will perform background checks and education verification prior to employment.
