Research Assistant/Associate
This is a 20 hour/week position supporting research efforts in the School of Medicine, Department of Public Health Sciences at the Institute of Law, Psychiatry and Public Policy. The Research Assistant will be integrally involved in mental health law reform projects, with a focus on firearm restraining order policy and implementation.
Responsibilities- Assist with literature reviews
- Participate in meetings with collaborators
- Develop resources
- Collect data by coding legal materials and conducting stakeholder interviews
- Prepare grant proposals
This is a wage position; not eligible for leave or other benefits and limited to 1500 hours of work in a year. The position will also require education verification and health screening.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Primarily sedentary with extensive use of desktop computers. Occasional travel to attend meetings and programs.
