Post Doc Research Associate

The Imaginnovation Lab, led by Dr. Jinghang Xie in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is recruiting a postdoc in cell biology/immunology. The Imaginnovation Lab is at the forefront of research in preclinical and clinical imaging techniques. As a part of the team, you will have the opportunity to spearhead the development of intelligent chemical probes for translational imaging of adoptive T cell therapies.

Initially, a one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal.

Starting Compensation: $63,480

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Doctoral degree

Experience:

None

Preferred Requirements:

A Ph.D. degree with training in cell biology, immunology, biomedical engineering or a closely related field.

Proficiency in cell culture, microscope, flow cytometry, histology, and small animal handling.

Experience with small animal optical and/or PET imaging is highly preferred.
