It also resolves day‑to‑day issues across wet‑lab, dry‑lab, and animal‑protocol activities. In addition, this role conducts independent bench research involving experimental design, execution, and data analysis.
Responsibilities
The Lab Research Professional 2 is responsible for conducting and managing research activities across various disciplines. They design and implement studies, support research activities, analyze data, and contribute to advancing knowledge and innovation in their respective fields.
This role is responsible for conducting experiments and analyses in laboratory settings to investigate scientific questions in fields like biology, chemistry, and physics. Laboratory researchers design and execute experiments, collect data, and collaborate with scientists to advance understanding of fundamental and applied research.
Minimum Qualifications
* Education:
Bachelor's degree required.
* Experience:
3+ years of relevant experience required.
Physical Demands
This position can spend extensive periods of time standing and squatting while conducting experiments or caring for animals. Also requires keyboarding and other bench work and animal procedures requiring finer finger manipulation
Salary Range
* The anticipated hiring range is $70,000-$85,000, commensurate with education and experience.

* This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and must be performed fully on-site.
