Job Overview
Serve cafe beverages, pastries, and smoothies to members and guests of Boar's Head Resort.
Essential Job Functions- Take guest orders using IG system and guest name.
- Manage order process at the cafe counter.
- Complete basic surface level cleaning as well as other deep cleaning projects within the Kitchen, dining area and storage areas.
- Occasionally put together large orders at the request of the Sports Club Facilities, Event Orders/Cash bars, and Banquets.
- Complete opening/closing procedures such as picking up/dropping off money from the Front Desk at the Inn, counting drawer, opening/closing counts, wiping down tables, countertops, etc.
- Keep dining area stocked with condiments and snacks.
- Remove trash on a daily basis.
- Sweep/mop within the service area and dining room.
- Learn all recipes and gather knowledge on classic cafe beverage-making skills.
- Maintain and complete an inventory stock list at all times.
- Handle money properly at both The Sports Club Cafe and Front Desk.
- Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned.

RequirementsEssential

- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Polite, friendly demeanor.
- Neat, clean appearance.
- Willing to follow rules for sanitary food service.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently to provide prompt, effective service.
Desirable
- Previous Food & Beverage customer service experience.
- Flexible availability and eager to provide coverage, when needed.
- Ability to operate a POS system to enter orders and prepare checks.
- 21+; ability to serve guests alcoholic beverages.
All employees must learn and comply with all Resort safety rules; must use appropriate safety equipment at all times; must immediately report all unsafe conditions to supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features or equipment, machinery or materials encompassed by job duties; and must check with supervisor if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function.
