At Grit Coffee, we believe that the hard work required to craft and serve great coffee is an endeavor worth pursuing. We do so with passion and joy, with the ultimate goal of sharing our excellent coffees and spaces with the communities we serve.

We seek to build a diverse, vibrant and creative team of individuals that will help us strengthen our brand with their unique experience. We will train new hires on how to prepare, serve and talk about our offerings.

Coffee or hospitality experience is preferred, but not necessary.

• Merchandise management - displaying, stocking
• Maintain side work throughout each shift
• Ability to lift about 30lbs
• Ability to work on your feet for 6-8 hours
• Assist your teammates and work together to support each other

The Goal of the Barista is to create a positive guest experience while sharing pride in our products and stewardship of our shop. We represent the Core Values of Grit naturally and honestly.

Currently | part-time positions available.

• Training Pay - $12.50/hr
• Barista Pay - Starting base pay is $10/hr + tips*. Tips average between $7-$9 dollars more per hour for an average hourly pay of $17-$19 per hour.

* Tips are collected per shop per day and split amongst the team that worked that day. Tips can vary based on location and hours worked.

Baristas must maintain at least 4 shifts per month or 1 shift per week to be considered an active employee.

Most barista shifts range from 5-7 hours

Opening shifts start at 6:30am

Closing shifts end at or around 5:30pm
