WhatWe're Looking For
An eager and excited Store Manager (Temporary) who embodies GNC's "Live Well" philosophy—living strong, living long, and living fit.
What You'll DoThis is a full‑time hourly supervisory position. Alongside a District Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, including business performance, product management, and ensuring your team has the tools to succeed. You will support your store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with GNC values and policies.
- Ensure products are merchandised according to GNC standards while maintaining visibility and accessibility.
- Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and customer relationships that lead to repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals, helping associates realize their sales potential.
- Build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and perform managerial duties such as providing feedback, recruiting, hiring, and performance management.
- Open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory count, and deposits per GNC procedures.
- Seek out and participate in community events that resonate with consumers—e.g., fairs, fitness events, conferences, expos—to promote GNC's mission.
At the end of 90 days, your performance will be assessed to determine eligibility for promotion to a permanent Store Manager position.
Environmental Factors & Working Schedule- Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting—below waist and above shoulders.
- Repetitive hand‑to‑finger motions and reach with hands and arms.
- Lift up to twenty pounds (occasionally up to 40 pounds); push/pull up to 20 lbs.
- Climb ladders, reach, and bend as required.
- Work in temperatures ranging from 50–85°F, especially in stock rooms.
- Use a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.

Store managers are expected to work five days per week, forty hours per week, with additional requirements for specific store types (numbers and nights detailed above) and observe all major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
