Compensation Pay Range

$56,000.00 - $68,444.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly, or performance premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Job Responsibilities
  • Direct team members to provide customers with prompt, courteous, and professional service.
  • Solicit orders, sell company products, and represent the company in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain customer base, increase sales volume at assigned accounts, review customer needs to gain market share, and solicit stocking-type business as well as daily needs and equipment sales.
  • Communicate with and coordinate sales call efforts with the Territory Sales Manager.
  • Supervise work performed by all store team members, collaborating with the District Manager in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging team members.
  • Develop and post work schedules for each pay period using scheduling & time‑keeping recommendations based on sales and payroll forecasting.
  • Review team member timecards for clocking accuracy and correct all missed punches daily.
  • Ensure all store team members continually improve their skills through company training on policies and procedures, customer service, computer operations, catalogs, sales, and safety.
  • Work with the Sales and Pricing Departments to establish pricing levels for professional customers.
  • Maximize gross profit on outside purchases.
  • Monitor non‑competitive price overrides and price matches to ensure policy compliance and overall profitability.
  • Ensure the store is organized and operating according to all company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate any new information received from the company to all team members as necessary.
  • Implement all planogram changes and merchandising plans as outlined.
  • Provide the Inventory Control Department with accurate and timely stock adjustment recaps.
  • Handle all daily store accounting functions accurately to ensure maximum store, corporate, and distribution center efficiency, including sales reports, bank deposits, cash drawers, and processing checks.
  • Monitor all charge accounts, promptly address any past‑due situations, and communicate regularly with the Territory Sales Manager and credit department on status of problem accounts.
  • Monitor susceptible areas and implement loss prevention procedures, including billing, cash refund, credit, and stock transfer procedures, core and warranty procedures, key control, and shoplifting prevention.
  • Ensure store vehicles are clean, well‑maintained, and that daily/monthly inspections are completed properly.
  • Report property/building needs using the Maintenance and Repair System (MARS) or to the District Manager.
  • Attend the Annual Managers’ Conference.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  • Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, Manager Development Program module
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems
Desired Skills
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
  • Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE certification
