Job Purpose
The Museum Shop Receiver oversees the movement of product received from the Distribution Center to all retail locations.
Essential Functions- Verify all merchandise received from the Distribution Center against the Transfer slip and report any discrepancies.
- Unpack all merchandise for both retail locations. Send merchandise to the sales floor in the Museum Shop and assist with stocking the Farm Shop when deliveries are received.
- Store items that will not go to the sales floor in the appropriate location in the stockroom. Label all boxes with the product name.
- Maintain store supplies and keep the sales floor stocked with bags, tissue paper, and boxes.
- Check the sales floor daily to determine inventory needs and replenish merchandise as needed. Pull merchandise for both locations based on prepared lists.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to climb ladders for stocking and restocking purposes.
