Job Overview

The Local Sales Representative will be responsible for delivering the business plan for the assigned group of customers within their assigned geography, supporting the Area Sales Manager of On-Premise and playing a critical role in the profitable growth of their account base. The role leads, initiates, and prepares all contract negotiations in partnership with the Area Sales Manager, which are presented and shared with customers.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver key metric goals (Volume, DNGP, Revenue, and other initiatives) by executing against CCCI and customer priorities
  • Expand customer growth through new business acquisitions
  • Develop and establish trusting relationships with each customer, enabling analysis and influence on purchasing decisions; implement Look of Success (LOS)
  • Identify optimal mix of packages and brands for each outlet based on beverage categories and consumer/account needs
  • Perform timely business reviews to identify customer needs and present solutions to management for approval
  • Identify volume trends, brand/package voids, and opportunities for new product introductions
  • Maintain accountability for planning an effective process for market time with customers
  • Develop a balanced plan for time in the market with customers versus administrative duties
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Customer Care Center, Field Operations, Equipment Services, Retail Sales) to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and support
  • Prepare business review materials and contract documents for customer presentation and signing
  • Assemble data and populate information into all customer evaluations (EVA’s) for management approval
  • Maintain accountability for completing all assigned training courses each year
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Strong selling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Office productivity tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and iOS devices
  • Strong planning, organization, and administrative abilities
  • Frequent driving and walking throughout the day; able to lift up to 50lbs as needed
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Management, Administration)
