Security Officer Reception Clearance Required in Charlottesville, VA – In this front desk security role, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security operations with professionalism and care. The position requires a visible, strong presence to create a positive experience through communication, teamwork, and integrity.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a front desk in a technology environment.
• Monitor visitor access, verify identification and credentials, deter unauthorized entry while maintaining a professional welcome.
• Answer phones, assist employees, guests or vendors with directions and check‑in, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, communicate with site contacts and first responders when appropriate.
• Complete reports, maintain front desk logs, and support access control and other security operations as expected.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Alarm panel experience (preferred).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and/or badge experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and licensing requirements as applicable.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as per applicable laws.
