Lead HVAC Technician – Residential and CommercialThis role involves making repairs, performing preventative HVAC maintenance, completing jobs on schedule, maintaining quality control, coordinating work schedules with Operation Managers, presenting a professional image to clients, building strong client and subcontractor relationships, performing general labor duties, and maintaining safe practices in line with company Safety for Life policies.
Responsibilities- Make repairs and perform preventative HVAC maintenance.
- Complete jobs on schedule and maintain quality control, completing paperwork accurately.
- Coordinate work schedule with Operation Managers (Building, HVAC).
- Display proper company image to potential clients and within the community.
- Build strong, productive client and subcontractor relationships.
- Perform general laborer duties as needed.
- Maintain safe delivery and handling practices and follow all company Safety for Life policies.
- Knowledge of or ability to perform tasks in HVAC and many trades commercial and residential (e.g., carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, masonry, mechanical knowledge, basic roofing, safe power tool use, flooring, sheetrock, plaster skills a plus).

- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi‑task and solve problems effectively.
- Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Physical ability: able to talk, sit, stand, stoop and bend; climb ladders and 5 floors of stairs; bend, kneel, crawl and maneuver in and around all kinds of equipment; move around building maintenance sites; lift a minimum of 75 pounds to waist height; excellent hand‑eye coordination, able to grasp and assemble objects; excellent vision or corrected, including ability to distinguish basic color groups;
excellent hearing.
- High School Diploma or GED; college degree or trade certification in a job-related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or maintenance related job.
- Excellent driving record; must grant permission for release of Virginia Motor Vehicle Record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willing to take a drug test and authorize background check.
