We are looking for a talented Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team s role requires a professional with a pride for maintaining equipment and assets at a top‑notch level. The ideal candidate will perform scheduled maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of critical facility assets, reduce emergency repairs, and ensure a safe, efficient operating environment to uphold the integrity of our Club's facilities.
This role directly supports the Facilities Maintenance team by handling routine servicing, inspections, and minor repairs, allowing Maintenance Mechanics to focus on reactive and specialized work. - Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, HVAC units, kitchen equipment, and building infrastructure.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major failures.
- Complete minor repairs and adjustments to equipment, including belt replacements, lubrication, filter changes, and minor plumbing/electrical fixes.
- Document all work completed in the CMMS to track asset performance and maintenance history.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring all preventative maintenance tasks align with regulatory and safety standards.
- Assist with seasonal maintenance projects, including weatherproofing and HVAC transitions.
- Collaborate with vendors when external servicing is required, ensuring efficient scheduling and quality control.
- Assist with maintenance of corporate housing units as requested by Facilities Maintenance Director.
- Assist with and make general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation system, and building structure of the Club as directed.
- Participate in the Maintenance on‑call schedule rotation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years of experience in a related field, including experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Demonstrated comfort working with planned maintenance and work orders.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must possess a current Virginia driver’s license.
- Must be able to climb up to heights of twenty‑five (25) feet.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to sixty (60) pounds.
- Must be able to complete assigned duties individually with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively with other maintenance mechanics.
