Job Description
We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician with 4+ years of Journeyman level experience to oversee a small crew responsible for installing energy-saving light fixtures and components. This role involves hands‑on work with a team of 2-3 people and requires occasional travel to areas such as Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina.
-Looking for local candidates in the Richmond area, as well as candidates who are open to traveling throughout Virginia.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage a crew of 2-3 technicians in the installation of energy-saving light fixtures.
- Support the installation process by working hands‑on with light fixtures and components.
- Occasionally work with MC Cable and perform minimal wiring tasks.
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Primarily operate within the Richmond Area with occasional travel to VA, MD, and NC.
- Electrical aptitude and experience in the electrical field.
- Proficiency in installing light fixtures.
- Experience as a lead technician or crew leader.
Skills & Qualifications
- Electrical experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance record.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlottesville, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
