Candidates must be based in Virginia or they will NOT be considered for the position.

The Field Generator Technician will install, repair, and perform routine and preventative maintenance on backup power systems for telecommunication companies, local businesses and emergency service personnel.

Salary is $25–$35 per hour based on level of experience as a generator technician. Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

• Level 1: 25–27 USD per hour
• Level 2: 28–30 USD per hour
• Level 3: 31–35 USD per hour
• Level 4: 35–40 USD per hour

• Able to perform generator repairs of commercial generators as well as preventative maintenance
• Able to perform generator troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Maintains knowledge of updated changes in various models of equipment
• Evaluates and recommends any required repairs
• Excellent customer skills
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must have 2 years of previous experience
• Must be at least 25 years old
