Electrical Helper
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Helper to assist a crew of 2-3 people in the installation of energy-saving light fixtures and components. This role involves occasional work with MC Cable and minimal wiring tasks. The initial assignment will be at Virginia Tech, followed by travel around Richmond, Charlottesville, and potentially other locations in VA, MD, and NC.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of energy-saving light fixtures and components.
- Work occasionally with MC Cable and perform minimal wiring tasks.
- Support the crew in various electrical tasks as needed.
- Ensure reliable and strong attendance to maintain project schedules.
Essential
Skills:
- Electrical aptitude.
- Experience with assembly and service tasks.
- Knowledge of lighting and LED lighting systems.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Preferred electrical experience.
- Experience with installing light fixtures or general labor experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlottesville, VA.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
