We are pursuing an experienced working Maintenance Technician to work within a service team and provide all levels of residential maintenance for a class A property.
Responsibilities- Completion of apartment work orders and apartment turnovers.
- Perform general carpentry work including wallboard repair, counter top/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.
- Maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC issues, and electrical work.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of communal areas, property buildings, and pool maintenance.
- Complete preventative maintenance to ensure everything is in working order.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Monitor and organize inventory and supplies.
- Pick up and deliver supplies as needed.
- Power wash and perform snow removal at the property as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Working knowledge and experience in general apartment maintenance including plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, and appliance repair.
- Obtain HVAC and CPO certification required or willing to obtain within first 6 months of employment.
- Availability to take after‑hours and on‑call emergencies on a rotation basis.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Training and experience working with HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community or similar setting.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and traverse the property to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
- Physical ability and dexterity to handle tools and machinery skillfully.
- Endurance to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects and operating tools and equipment.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds.
