LEHR is seeking highly motivated candidates with a strong work ethic to join our growing team as an Automotive Equipment Installer in our Charlottesville shop.

Responsibilities

Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components.
Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more.
Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems.
Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
Organize tools and inventory.

Qualifications

Experience with 12V electrical systems and/or 2-way radio installation.
Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams.
Experience using hand tools and power tools.
Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and on a team.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
High school diploma or GED.

Monday to Friday
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
No weekends
