Senior Software Engineering Manager; Full Stack – Charlottesville

Requirements Must have

• Bachelors degree in a related field
• Minimum of 6 years in software engineering (internships not included)
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• A minimum of 4 years in a people management role
• Masters degree is preferred
• 9 years of expertise in JavaScript, Java, Type Script, or Python is a plus
• 3 years of experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
• 4 years of work with open source frameworks
• 3 years of experience in large data processing (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Glue/EMR)
• 2 years of experience in utilizing AI for development
• 4 years of leadership experience in cloud engineering, Dev Ops, operational, or SRE functions

• Oversee a range of diverse technology initiatives and guide a team of experienced developers in microservices and full stack systems – Drive the development of solutions to meet the companys regulatory requirements – Stay updated on technological advancements, experiment with new tools, and engage in both internal and external technology networks – Mentor and nurture other engineers within the organization – Occasionally participate in coding or code review activities – Collaborate with digital product managers to implement robust cloud-based solutions – Deliver impactful experiences that empower millions of users in their financial journeys
