The CDL Technician works closely with supervisors and crew members to perform inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation of sewer and stormwater pipes. The role includes operating a CDL vehicle and performing various tasks required for our trenchless technology services.
Key Responsibilities- Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material, etc.)
- Equipment driving and operation.
- Entry into manhole and underground structures.
- Pump watch and operation.
- Preferred 3-5 years of experience operating a Class A or B vehicle, preferably a Vac Truck.
- Tanker endorsement required or willingness to obtain.
- Ability and/or willingness to learn and operate other company equipment.
- Must pass pre‑employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and meet background requirements.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting.
- Ability to enter confined spaces.
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs.
- Able to work in various weather conditions.
- Able to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working as required by the job.
This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and can include shift work, weekends, evenings, and holidays – flexibility is required as job duties demand.
