Receiver, Warehouse

ARAMARK at the University of Virginia is seeking a Receiver for Newcomb Hall to support our food service operations. In this role, you will unload deliveries, verify orders against invoices, rotate and label stock, and keep storage areas clean, safe, and organized. You'll work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure products are available when needed and follow food safety and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload food and supply deliveries safely and efficiently
• Verify delivery contents against invoices and report discrepancies
• Label, date, and rotate stock following FIFO practices
• Organize and maintain dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage areas
• Assist with inventory counts and basic recordkeeping
• Communicate product shortages or issues to supervisors and kitchen staff
• Operate carts, hand trucks, and other basic material handling equipment
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
