About the position
Duties🍁The Case Manager position is attached to the Field Operations Division with the core mandate of delivering direct services to our Veterans and their families. With more than 1,200 employees across the country, Field Operations has a wealth of knowledge, skills, abilities and strengths in multiple areas thanks to its diverse workforce. The opportunity for movement brings renewal to our workforce and creates a stimulating work environment.
We work together to create healthy workplaces by ensuring people feel valued, where employee development, transparency and wellness are fostered.
Case management services support Veterans who are facing complex challenges. It is a collaborative process between the client and Case Manager with support from the interdisciplinary teams to identify needs, set goals and create a plan to help clients achieve their highest level of independence, health and well-being.
Work environment
🏢 🏠 We have quickly adapted to the new reality and the majority of our employees are currently working based on a common hybrid work model. Employees may expect to work a combination of both remote and on site work, with the frequency of each depending on the operational needs at the time of hiring and as we continue to evolve.
PLEASE APPLY ONLY for locations where you have a genuine interest in working or where you would be willing to relocate.
While VAC offers a hybrid work model, Case Manager roles include a requirement for regular weekly in-office attendance at the Charlottetown, PEI location (Jean Canfield Building, 1st Floor, 191 Great George Street, C1A 4L2).
Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to create a pool or partially assessed pool of candidates to fill similar or identical positions with various language profiles, durations (term, indeterminate, assignment, secondment, acting appointment and deployment) and conditions of employment in Veterans Affairs Canada or other Federal Government Departments.
