From historic photographs at public libraries to unique archival collections at universities and museums, we help institutions manage, organize, and provide access to the materials that matter most.

For more than 15 years, our team has worked alongside librarians, archivists, metadata specialists, and collection managers to solve the challenges of managing digital collections. Today, our team brings together more than 100 years of combined experience in libraries, archives, digital collections, and repository technologies.

Our purpose is to make it easier to manage and share the world’s digital collections.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an Account Executive to grow Discovery Garden’s presence within libraries, archives, and higher education institutions in the United States. Our purpose is to make it easier for organizations to manage and share their digital collections. You’ll help prospective clients understand how Discovery Garden’s solutions can support their goals related to digital collections management.

While experience working with libraries, archives, museums, or higher education institutions is considered a strong asset, we are equally interested in candidates with a proven ability to build relationships, generate opportunities, and navigate complex sales processes. The ideal candidate is curious, consultative, self-motivated, and excited to learn a specialized industry while helping organizations solve meaningful challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and industry concepts quickly.
  • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with outreach, presentations, webinars, conferences, or client engagement is an asset.
  • Familiarity with digital collections, repositories, preservation systems, or library technologies is an asset.
  • Experience working with libraries, archives, museums, or higher education institutions is highly valued.
What You’ll Do
  • Generate new business opportunities through email, phone, social media, conferences, and professional networking.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients across libraries, archives, museums, and higher education institutions.
  • Lead discovery meetings to understand client goals, challenges, and requirements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and guide prospects through the evaluation process.
  • Prepare and respond to proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
