Fireproofing Applicator​/Labourer

Job Overview

Trinity Energy Group is growing, and we’re looking for a Fire stopping Labourer
to join our dedicated team! If you have experience with fire‑rated assemblies, are safety‑conscious, and enjoy working in a fast‑paced construction environment – we want to hear from you!

• Install firestop systems in walls, floors, and ceilings according to project specifications
• Apply a variety of firestop materials, including caulks, sealants, wraps, and boards
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings related to fireproofing
• Ensure work is compliant with building codes and manufacturer standards
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with site supervisors and other trades
• Maintain job site cleanliness and follow all safety protocols

• Experience in fire stopping or a similar construction trade (asset, but willing to train the right candidate)
• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to travel within Atlantic provinces as needed, Monday to Friday (hotel and per diem provided for overnight stays)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, data, drawings, and project specifications
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to fireproofing applications
• Clean abstract and reliable transportation to job sites; class 1 or air brake endorsements preferred
• Must be able to meet physical demands (lifting/holding 55lbs comfortably, standing for long periods)
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights

Pay: $19.00‑$25.00 per hour
