Adecco is currently hiring a Field Service Technician for a full-time direct-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced electro-mechanical technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and providing exceptional customer service. Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
Location: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Important Requirement: Must be able to travel to the United States for training.
Provide outstanding service to clients and ensure customer devices are operating correctly.
Troubleshoot and repair devices using electro-mechanical skills.
Apply electrical and mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
Use a multi-meter to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
Read and interpret electrical schematics to properly troubleshoot systems.
Complete an average of five gross service calls per day.
Maintain an efficiency rating of 50% or higher by resolving issues correctly the first time.
Meet response time commitments of approximately 2 to 4 hours.
Manage parts usage and keep parts costs to a minimum.
Complete service calls independently following technical training.
Maintain strong communication and professionalism when interacting with customers.
Travel throughout the assigned territory as required.
Follow all safety procedures, particularly when working around electrical components.
Successfully complete required technical and company training.
Maintain knowledge of equipment and inventory requirements within the assigned territory.
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada.
Previous electro-mechanical experience is required.
Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits using a multi-meter.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
Experience in roles such as Military/Veteran with electro-mechanical experience, HVAC/Cable Internet Technician, Electrician, Automotive Mechanic, Repair Technician, or similar is considered relevant.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Highly reliable and dependable with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
Valid driver's license and appropriate insurance coverage.
Ability to successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check as part of the technician background check.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a service territory effectively.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable walking, standing, squatting, bending, and driving for more than 50% of the workday.
Willingness and ability to travel to the United States for training.
Successfully complete new-hire training and required technical training courses.
Develop a strong understanding of the company's customer service culture.
Understand expectations related to service call volume, territory alignment, and client satisfaction.
Develop thorough knowledge of equipment and inventory requirements within the assigned territory.
Demonstrate the ability to correctly and independently complete service calls.
