The Shower & Railing Installer is responsible for installing glass shower systems and residential and commercial railing systems, working closely with project managers, contractors, customers, and site teams to ensure installations are completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install framed and frameless glass shower systems
- Install residential and commercial glass railing systems
- Measure and lay out installation locations accurately
- Read and follow drawings, measurements, and installation instructions
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment
- Troubleshoot installation issues and complete adjustments as required
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, customers, and team members
- Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with safety regulations
- Provide professional, customer-focused service on site
Qualifications
- Previous installation, glazing, construction, or carpentry experience preferred
- Experience installing glass showers or railing systems considered an asset
- Strong measuring and installation skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and handle glass and other materials
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
Details
- Salary Range: $23.00–$27.00 per hour
- 4% vacation pay
- Full-time, Permanent
- Location:
Prince Edward Island - Travel to project sites may be required
