Charlton

Salary Range: $21 - $24.00/hour depending on experience + sign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).

Wayside Youth & Family Support Network’s Charlton site is hiring a full-time administrative assistant.

What you will do:
  • Be a part of a multidisciplinary team serving youth and families from a strengths perspective and informed by principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Verify referred youth's insurance eligibility for services.
  • Set up clients and services in the agency's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Obtain initial insurance authorizations for service as well as re-authorizations as needed and upload supporting documentation into EHR.
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets for billing and other census data with accuracy.
  • Be able to run reports and manipulate data in Excel and other programs.
  • Assist with other office management tasks as needed, such as but not limited to: answering calls, greeting guests at the main lobby area, assisting clients with understanding and resolving insurance issues, and maintaining the overall office environment.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED/HiSet equivalent.
  • Experience using Excel and other Microsoft Suite products.
  • Some experience with insurance and billing are preferred.
