Reports To: Principal

Position Summary: Responsible for teaching Math to high school students. Creates engaging lesson plans aligned with district and CCSS standards and fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment. Maintains student records, assesses student progress, and communicates with parents. Engages in professional development and supports the school’s mission to support student success.

• Instruction & Lesson Planning:
  Teach Math to high school students, establish clear learning objectives, and develop lesson plans aligned with CCSS and District guidelines.
• Classroom Management:
  Create a learning environment conducive to student engagement, employ differentiated instruction, and integrate educational technology.
• Student Assessment & Support:
  Regularly assess student progress, provide reports, and collaborate with specialists to address learning needs and/or disabilities.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Take precautions to protect students, equipment, and facilities, maintain accurate records, and implement District policies.
• Communication &
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Engage with parents and support students for education-related purposes outside instructional hours. Collaborate with school administration.
• Professional Growth:
  Attend meetings, serve on committees, and continue to improve through ongoing professional development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal, Superintendent‑Director, or their designee.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Must be licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to teach Math (9‑12).
• SEI Endorsement required.
• Prior teaching experience in a high school setting required.

• Full‑time position.
• 184 working days per school year.
• Position part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Bay Path Teachers Association and the SWCRVSDC.

Appropriate step on the Teacher’s salary schedule pursuant to the BPTA CBA. Salary range is $59,152.95 – $.
