The Digital Printing Operator reports to the Senior Director of Production Operations and will be assisting to ensure product labels and designs come to life in physical can form while collaborating closely with the Prepress Operator. This includes assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of the can printer and auxiliary equipment as well as operating auxiliary equipment.
Position DetailsThis position is FULL-TIME and will be based in Charlton, MA.
The schedule for this role Monday-Friday 2PM-10PM and potentially some weekends with notice.
Responsibilities- Cleaning and and assisting with the maintenance of the digital can printer equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Feed production lines and ensure they are running smoothly
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Troubleshooting malfunctions on the fly; diagnosing and locating the root of a malfunction.
- Ensuring optimal and uninterrupted operation of the digital can printing machine, conveyance, depalletization equipment, repalletization equipment,and other necessary mechanical items by completing preventive maintenance requirements on said systems as per operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Capture production and waste data to improve our processes and efficiency
- Identifying and correcting deficiencies as they arise throughout the process
- Maintaining output schedules as established by the Senior Director of Production Operations
- 1-2 years experience working with and maintaining/automated equipment
- 1-2 years of experience operating a stand up/reach style forklift
- Ability to accurately match colors on screen to printed output
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions to printing challenges
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and/or pivot plans quickly in order to coordinate corrective actions needed
- You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a focused and hard working attitude
- A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision
- Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably in low and high environments
- Ability to multitask and work coolly and professionally in time sensitive situations
- Strong mechanical aptitude - troubleshooting ability under pressure and time constraints is a must
- Must have good communication skills with the ability to both receive feedback and offer ideas
- Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday
- Ability to work early, long hours with flexibility and the ability to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary to ensure product delivery

The starting base hourly range for this role is $28-30/hour. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Base pay is only one component of the total compensation package, as this role is eligible for participation in the company growth bonus program and a robust benefit package.
