Position Overview

Video/Staying Power
- Average weekly pay: $1263
- Hours per week: 40 + overtime
- Solo Miles Pay: $0.38 per mile
- Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per stop
- Paid training
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday (no weekends) - Start time: 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Delivery:
Solo to 120‑mile radius of Charlton, MA - Route:
Local Home Daily - Truck types:
Box Truck – 16′, 22′ & 26′ - Equipment:
Pallet jack, lift gate & hand truck – Ryder will provide training - Freight:
Touch – Auto Parts
- Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
- 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including Drug & alcohol verification for last 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical
- Pass Ryder road test
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Required driving experience with straight/box truck: choose one of the following
- 6 months experience in the past 3 years
- 2 years’ experience within last 5 years
- 5 years’ experience within last 10 years
- Safely drive the vehicle, complying with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer.
- Other tasks as assigned.
