Position Description
Ryder is hiring a NON‑CDL Truck Driver in Charlton, MA. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Video/Staying Power
- $1150–$1350 per week
- Solo Miles Pay: $0.38 per mile
- Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per stop
- Paid training
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday (no weekends) - Start time: 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Hours:
40+ per week
- Deliver SOLO to a 120‑mile radius of Charlton, MA
- Route:
Local, Home Daily - Truck type:
Box truck (16’, 22’, or 26’) - Equipment:
Pallet jack, lift gate, hand truck - Ryder will train you on all required equipment
- Freight:
Touch – Auto Parts
- Medical, dental, and vision after 30 days
- 80 hours PTO in the first year, starting Day 1 (use or get paid for it)
- Uniforms, cell phone, and boot allowance provided
- Drivers are the captains – you make safety decisions, and your job is protected
- 401(k) rollover available now with company match at 1 year
- 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility and tenure)

- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Must pass a Ryder drug test
- Must have verifiable driving experience (for straight‑truck or box‑truck):
- 6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Safely operate a vehicle and comply with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service standards
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records of loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading freight if required by customer
- Perform other tasks as assigned
