Area Manager 2026 – New England (Recent and Upcoming Graduates)

This is a full‑time, entry‑level position located within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings. Amazon is seeking customer‑focused individuals to lead a team of hourly employees across our Operations network. The role is not remote or office‑based and will be performed in a fast‑paced warehouse environment where standing, walking and on‑floor conversations are common.

As an Area Manager, you will engage, lead and develop your team to meet warehouse goals. Your main focus is motivating, mentoring and managing 50‑100 direct‑report associates while maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance and performance. Amazon provides extensive training and development so you become an exceptional people leader.

• Support, mentor and motivate 50‑100 direct report Amazon Associates
• Work independently in an autonomous environment
• Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (usually a fixed 4‑day work week with 3 days off)
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (when applicable) and step in as needed
• Work in an environment where noise level varies
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)

A bachelor’s or master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (degree requirements must be met before the first day).

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Current enrollment in or graduation with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or a related field
