Position Overview
The Secretary/Receptionist performs general clerical support and office duties for the department and its Management.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Perform basic administrative functions including preparation of business correspondence, memorandums, informational packages, training materials and reports.
- Assist with scheduling, maintain calendar and daily schedules.
- Maintain departmental tracking logs.
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate location or person as needed.
- Establish and maintain filing systems and basic databases as applicable.
- Perform routine general office duties such as filing, copying and scanning.
- Provide general clerical support to management staff, including scheduling meetings, routing phone calls and taking messages.
- Record minutes of meetings and provide resulting documents as necessary.
- Sort and distribute mail.
- Maintain inventory of necessary office forms and supplies.
- Escalate issues to supervisor for resolution as deemed necessary.
- Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned; additional responsibilities may include focus on one or more departments or locations.

EducationHigh School Diploma required.
Experience and Required Skills- 1-2 years related experience.
- Knowledge of office procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Pleasant telephone manner.
Rate of pay: $15 – $22 per hour, depending on work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
