Minimum Requirements:

+ Proof of education (Bachelor's Degree required)

+ Official sealed transcripts (required for substitute license)

+ A valid 3-Year Short-Call License (MN Substitute Permit)  
** or
* * an active MN Educator's License (Tier 1-4)

+ Application cost for 3-Year Short-Call License: $90.25

+ Fingerprinting is required as part of the license application process

** Paraprofessional:*
* _Pay:_  $17 - $20/hour

+  _Either_  an associate's degree/60 college credits

+  _Or_  High school diploma/GED

* * a Parapro Assessment score of 455 or higher

** Responsibilities:*
* + Follow district lesson plans and classroom procedures

+ Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning

+ Enforce school rules and policies

+ For long-term assignments, may develop lesson plans and grade assignments

+ Support students academically and behaviorally (Para educator)
