MV02-011326 Total Productive/Preventive Maintenance (TPM) SMEPinnaql is a trusted consulting partner to regulated life sciences companies, providing deep technical, validation, and quality expertise across every stage of the product lifecycle. We partner with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device organizations to navigate complexity, accelerate project timelines, and maintain a strong state of compliance and audit readiness.
We are seeking an experienced TPM Expert to lead and sustain a site-wide Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Program in a regulated Diagnostics/IVD manufacturing environment. This role will drive measurable improvements in equipment reliability, uptime, and performance through structured planned maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and focused improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and sustain TPM strategy across manufacturing, assembly, test, and support equipment.
- Drive improvement initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime and increase OEE.
- Optimize PM program using criticality, performance data, and failure mode trends.
- Facilitate RCA / CAPA support for recurring equipment issues (5-Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
- Implement Autonomous Maintenance standards, visual controls, and operator engagement.
- Establish TPM KPIs and governance routines (OEE, MTBF/MTTR, PM compliance, repeat failures).
- Ensure maintenance practices support quality/compliance expectations and audit readiness.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Quality.
- Remote support with 50% travel at the beginning to FL, MN, CA & KY.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
- 7+ years in TPM / Reliability / Maintenance Excellence in regulated manufacturing.
- Strong TPM pillar leadership and shop-floor coaching/facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability and eliminating chronic losses.
- Working knowledge of CMMS/EAM systems (SAP PM / Maximo preferred).
Preferred
- Diagnostics, IVD, or Medical Device manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with GMP documentation and regulated site practices.
