Supplier Quality Engineer I

Location:

On‑site, Chaska, MN. Reports to Supplier Quality Manager.

• Execution of daily supplier management actions to improve supplier performance.
• Disposition nonconforming material and develop plans to prevent recurrence.
• Primary supplier quality representative for root cause and corrective action analysis regarding supplier‑caused manufacturing issues.
• Update supplier material control plans and incoming material inspection plans.
• Work with suppliers to determine root cause and develop robust corrective actions.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science field.
• 0–2 years experience.
• Ability to read and understand specifications on engineering drawings.
• Investigation skills to determine if components are nonconforming.
• Technical writing skills to document investigation results.

• Ability to travel.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 lb; other physical requirements as needed.

• Functional experience in supplier management in an FDA or other regulated industry.
• Knowledge of GDT.
• Experience with sampling plans and measurement systems.

$65,000 to $80,000 annually, with bonus/incentive pay eligibility. Salary range may be modified in the future.
